SecurityBoat Community - March 2026 Meeting
For the March 2026 SecurityBoat Community monthly meeting, I presented on CBOM, or Cryptography Bill of Materials. The core idea is to make hidden cryptography visible across applications, libraries, protocols, certificates, and deployed systems so teams can understand where cryptographic dependencies exist, assess migration risk, and plan remediation with much more confidence. In practice, CBOM helps organizations move from vague questions like "where are we using weak or legacy crypto?" to a concrete inventory that supports crypto agility, post-quantum transition planning, and better risk-informed security decisions.
