Professional

I’m Shyam Kumar Arshid, a Cybersecurity Researcher at Siemens with 13+ years of experience across cloud security, embedded/hardware security, and telecom networks. My current work focuses on building security tools that bridge IT and OT, especially in IIoT/industrial environments. At Siemens, I lead initiatives on AI cloud service evaluations and post-quantum cryptography for industrial protocols.

Previously, I built secure embedded systems at ISRO for national space missions including Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya-L1, worked on reverse engineering and cyber range development at India’s NCIIPC, and implemented telecom security standards at Idea Cellular. I enjoy building practical defenses across the stack—from glitch-resistant firmware to secure cloud deployment automation. I hold certifications including CISSP, GICSP, and CCSK.
